Spotlight On Jackson County

Tonight on Spotlight On Jackson County, Doug talks with Robert Weathersby about 
The Eastlawn "Caring and Sharing" Fest.

Eastlawn United Methodist Church will host the event on Saturday, September 29th from 10am to 4pm at 2502 Ingalls Ave. That's at the corner of Ingalls and Belair.
All money raised will support "Family Promise Of Jackson County" A local nonprofit to help families with children who are homeless.
Classic cars, music, a silent art auction and a giant bake sale.
This is going to be a fun family event.

The Addie Brent Show

Besides Spotlight on Jackson County, The Addie Brent Show is one of the longest running shows on WKFK.
She always has the most interesting guests. For instance, singer, songwriter Will Easley was in the studio a few weeks ago.

Meet Dan

Dan is the quiet one in the bunch.
He helps Mr. Ken with equipment and is learning all the technical aspects of keeping all our equipment running smoothly.
He is our resident thinker and always has a calm voice when everyone else is stressed out.
And he is almost as hard to keep up with as Mr. Ken!

Meet Ms. Fran

Ms. Fran is the real backbone of WKFK. 
She keeps all the departments running together smoothly. 
She wears many hats here at the station, from accounts receivable to public relations.
As you can tell by her desk, we keep her really busy.
